JOURNEY OF NATURAL STONE COUNTERTOP: From the Quarry to your final project. We would like to give you a little explanation on what takes place prior to the installation in your kitchen or bathroom. Your natural stone takes a quiet journey. Natural stone is extracted from the earth, transported to a large manufacture, cut into slabs and polished. After the slabs are ready to be shipped, international companies export them to us in the United States. It takes two to three months to get to the desired destination. When it arrives at the local port, a truck company removes the container and delivers it to its final destination. We, GC Marble and Granite, are responsible to measure your kitchen and turn the natural stone slabs into pieces of your countertops.
